A young white crane bird living peacefully in a nest at the top of tree becomes homeless after a merciless act by human.
Yes! This is a story about the criminal act done by the local unknown people who for their vested interest cut down more than 100 trees located at the jurisdiction of District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) Tando Muhammad Khan-Sindh.
As a result, the baby crane bird came out of the nest and wandering around to find a new home. Alas! It is unable to fly and was still learning to fly and enjoyed the safety and warmth of its nest, surrounded by the gentle rustle of leave and the songs of its family. It left alone without any rescue near the same place where it’s nest was pitilessly destroyed. The bird was crying and trembling with fear.
A group of individuals arrived with large machines that roared and clanged as they began to cut down trees around local hospital area allocated for forest purpose. The once tranquil forest was filled with the sounds of destruction. Young Crane’s parents, alarmed by the noise and the threat to their home, tried to protect, but the chaos was overwhelming.
Crane bird’s tree, which had been his home and preserve, was among those marked for removal. The great tree began to tremble as the machines worked, and young crane baby was thrown from his nest. It landed on the ground, confused and scared. The forest that had been his safe haven was now a scene of devastation.
The persons, while focused on their task and cut down all the trees around them. It was discovered that proper permits had not been obtained and that the destruction was not only harmful to wildlife but also illegal.
